Ok i know I havent posted in a long time, but hey, it was Halo week and i caught the “Flood”. Now its monday and it is time to get my butt off the chair and right back into another one.
SKULL GUIDE
Here is a guide on How to get all the 13 skulls. The video will show you the 9 gold skulls and I will tell you where to find the silver skulls.
Blind Skull
Description: “Shoot from the hip”
Stage: First StageHow To Find: When you get to the area where you see the Phantom overhead (one of the marines will point it out) jump over the rocks and keep following the path on the right. When you get to the cliff there will be a rock over of the side. The skull is on the end of the rock.
Cowbell Skull
Effect: Explosive force increased (sputnik from H2)
Level: The ArkLocation: First pick up a grav lift from the small building near where you fight the scarab. Now proceed through the level until you reach the second sloping hallway (stairway), you should see some partitioned risers (platforms) halfway down. The skull is on the top level. Toss the grav-lift on the right side of the hall so it lands on the fourth little green dot from the door. Then run, jump, and use the grav-lift to propel you to the top. You should reach a ckeckpoint just as you enter the room so it you miss just try again.
Grunt Birthday Party Skull
Effect: Headshots cause enemies to explode.
Where to find: Crow’s NestHow to find: Right after the first objective, while en route to the barracks, you will fall down onto a pipe. At the end of this pipe, look over the edge to see a small space a few feet below you. You must simply drop over and as quicly as you can, pull back to land under the floor you were just on. After that, the skull will be at the end.
I Would Have Been Your Daddy Skull
Effect: “But the dog beat me over the fence” – Unlocks bonus dialogue throughout the game. For most, this is the last skull, so this gives you the Hayabusa Helmet as well.
Level: The CovenantTo get this, get to the room where you “fight” the Prophet of Truth. Let the Arbiter kill him, turn around, and kill all the Flood here as well; makes it a LOT easier. With all obstacles out of the way, you need to jump through the Halo holograms here in a specific order, listed below:

When you jump through the final hologram, they all light up in a sequential pattern. The Skull will be at the end waiting for you right before the energy bridge leading to Truth’s corpse.
Note: the ring near Truth is the 7th ring and the stage must be started from the beginning.
Finding 6 skulls will give you the Hayabusa Chest piece, 9 for the shoulder and all 13 for the helmet.

Note: Security shoulder pieces are bugged. Sometimes they appear sometimes they disappear. Also the Commando shoulder pieces for the Elites are glitched and no one has them.
I would like to also mention that there is a hidden armor piece that you unlock when you get 1000 gamerpoints from Halo3. That is the Katana. Though it doesnt do anything, it is the final part of the Hayabusa armor.
TERMINALS
The Ark:
1. Start the mission and once you enter the first building take a left into another door and now you should be in a curved corridor. On the inside is a Terminal.
2. After activating the bridge to let your comrades accross the gap, do a 180 and you should see it. *it does not open until you activate the bridge*
3. In the third building after defeating the scarab, kill the group of sleeping covenent, then follow the corridor downwards. Once you reach a door in front that is locked, immediately on the left there’s an open door. Go through and walk straight off, then do a 180 to find a secret room. It is in there.
The Covenant:
1. When in the first tower standing on the lift, face the access panel and turn left. Jump over and it’s right there.
2. Land your hornet on the second tower, walk towards the entrance but when you see the locked door, do a 180. Should be right in front of you.
3. When in the third tower standing on the lift, face the access panel and turn right. Jump over and it’s right there.
Halo:
1. After reaching the end of the first cave, hug the right wall and you will see a building. Jump up onto the walkway and hang a left once inside. It’s right there.

Cole: Finding 6 skulls will give you the Hayabusa Chest piece, 9 gold for the shoulder and all 13 for the helmet (9 gold and 4 silver/white).
The skulls are activated in the Campaign Lobby by pressing X. They will add atributes to the game that are not normally there. For example: one will turn off radar while another one might make the enemie stronger.
Whats the benefit in that? if you turn on Campaign Scoring, you can earn those meta game achievements and the skulls multiply your score.
SKYLER: You do NOT have to finish the stage after you pick them up. The IWBYD skull is so difficult to get, many people finish the stage with it. Since it takes so long to get and the fact that you get it at the end of the stage.
im not getting the game points for finding the 7 terminals cortana just says somting like “how many of these have you found?” any ideas?
A lot of people are saying they are having a hard time with this also. Many say that you need to get them in order, but i have experienced otherwise.
Also you must read the entire thing. I believe it shows a few pages of text then scrambles and shows another few pages of text. Some even say something like Transmtion ends or message ends. So make sure you read them through and after the scramble part.
I got mine in different orders. The best bet is to get them in order and read them through i guess
i just looked on the bungie web site and they said you have to read them all past the hack point so when it turns red and all that fun stuff your good

terminals are based off of the old bungie game marathon and are basically messages from that as seen in red vs. blue season 3 or 4
heyy umm i was collecting sum gold skulls and in sierra 117 the skull wasnt there, is it because it started on a check point instead of mission start or is it cus i did it on heroic? p.s. do i have 2 do mission start for all gold skulls and/or on legendary. oh yeah on the storm i did mission start on normal and got to da skull after killing the anti air wraith and original blue wraith why is that? thanks (xbl: zane043)

Morgan: The game difficulty needs to be at normal or higher. Second you must begin the stage from the beginning, otherwise the skull will not appear.

Blotchysugar : EOB is rumored to be only for Bungie, including the flaming Hayabusa Helm. Some beg to differ and say it is a secret unlockable. As of now, its still unknown. Looks great tho. Kinda like a mixture of the ODST and the CQB

You unlock all of Hayabusa armor when you collect all 13 skulls. You unlock the armor with the katana by getting all of the achievements. Yes I am a girl. Gamertag: MissBettyBoop. 🙂
You left out the Katana. To get the Katana and the Security Helmet, you need to unlock all of the achievements. I think only the bungie people or people who know bungie people can get the ninja helmet and the flames.
Note when you are trying to get the marathon man achievement (all the terminals) you have to wait until the terminal is hacked. You will recognize this because it will freak out, turn red and start zooming around a ton of hexagons. You must wait for this at all of the terminals.
How do you get the EOB armour I’ve checked everywhere but found nothing on it please tell me how it looks great.

For the IWHBYD skul you only need to go through these rings 4 6 5 4 5 3 4 in the final room of the covenant mission. By the way my gamertag is Phoenix101794 if you need anything.
Wow man, you took that video off of another website that i used to find the gold skulls, so i do not believe that you actually found any of this stuff out on your own and if you want me to prove that you got it from another website go to mycheats.com which is a leggit gaming website.
concretecharlie: Some pieces of other armors just dont exist so they use other pieces from other armor. So the Mark V is basically just a helmet.

For the terminals to get the achievement:
I did them on easy (just to run through the levels quickly), didn’t finish the levels, but did access them in order. I noticed that after the red message, if you wait ~20 seconds, it will bring up another message. All of which are titles Fragment x/7. #5 is the only one that does not have the “fragment” title. This got me the achievement. The key is to wait that ~20 seconds after the red hacked message.
if anyone is stuck on the IWHBYD skull, u only have to go threw the rings in this order

the iwhbyd skull for me says locked and i did the skull thing twice and got the skull but for some reason on the skull screen it still says locked and i cant get the hayabusa helmet and i unlock all the other skulls why is it still locked?
did you try ending the stage while holding it, or did you just pick it up and drop it?

Hey – just wanted to add an Exploit, ( not a cheat )
On any level that the arbiter is with you – you can Give him Weapons and Take his Weapons
Example – u can Give him a Rocket Launcher ( he will have Unlimited Ammo )
and u can take his Weaps but his Sword will only have like 1 shot in it lol
How to Do this – you just need to Smack him till his Shield are down and shoot him in the head
( Battlerifle or Magnum works best )
then make sure to Switch the weapon u want to make him use with the weapons he Drops
( You need to make sure the weapons he drops are far enuf away from him (IE: his Sword,Carbine or Plasmarifles))
Oh and he can only use some weapons – The Gravity Hammer he Cannot Use
( Not Sure about others – just try some out )
The Best i Found were the Rocket Launcher and the Fuel Rod Cannon 😀

Sorry for Posting so many times but – i found that somtimes the Game gets Glitchy ( if u use that Exploit… ) Not to Glitchy just some things are a little Scetchy – it doesn’t effect u too much though.
To clear up a few things, there are requirments for the skulls and the glitches with the armour.
All skulls you have to start from the beginning, all skulls you have to play on normal to legendary.
Now with the catch skull you have to have completed campaign on normal or up, you can destroy the anti air tank but not the blue one. (on the storm)
The cowbell is the easiest skull (even though people think it is the hardest), put a gravlift about halfway down that ramp, run jump on it, you probably wont make it onto (you might make the hieght though) the platform, but hold down RB when you are next to it. You will pick it up.
(on the ark)
With the Tilt (on the level cortana) it involes crouch jumping not just jumping.
With the scout, you need to get the mongoose mowdown (like it was said above) aswell as Unlock “We’re in for some Chop” Achievement.

there is a story behind it. There was a post i saw that translated it all, but its gone now. the story behind the terminals fills all the holes in the story of the game.

the EOB amour is only available for bungie employees and select others, i assume family/friends. this sucks for all of us who arent affiliated with bungie 😦 but hopefully someday it could be a DLC armour

Ok, if anyone needs help on skulls even after watching the vid send me a friend request, my Gamer Tag is Suppleladen. DO NOT MISPRONOUNCE IT! The pronunciation is Sup-ul-lay-den. If you mispronounce it i will be angry. I get so mad because people are always like omg, he like worships Osama, and i made the name Laden before i even knew about him. Sry I just had to say it because i get mad about it. The terminals however you must get on your own. I have only found 2, and I am not really searching for them.

hey, ive gotton all the skulls like 3 months ago but i forgot to say ty so, thnks peps who helped me, i went in to a ranked match, team slyer and got a mongoose splatter but no achievment or Scout sholdiers? any idea? im pretty sure it was ranked any way, plus any 1 need any help, ad my email adress i know all skulls if u telll me the leval.

ive beaten halo on normal, and heroic. both times on co-op, i got my gamerpoints for beaten the levels, but it says the unlock for the 6th level isnt unlock, and i beat that level enough times now
you can get in aa wraith bash of the hach then bash of the drivers armour get in to a position where it does’t say hold rb to board then shoot the driver and hold rb it might take a while to work for more info send dantheburger a friend request for more info
recon armour can only be worn by bungie employies

i need hlep… whenever i go to campaing mode and go to edit campaign options and turn that thing from off to free for all… it says something like… turn on golen skulls for bonus multipliers.. i cant find any skulls.. golden or silver… wtf?? I dont get any of it.

pat: Bungie sometimes gives out EOB armor to people that did/made something good/hilarious. For example, making a great, recognized map, or dying in a hilarious way.

what is the meta-game
Halo 3 Master: The armor you get for beating the campaign on legendary is the EOD, not EOB.
Also, make sure that you start at the beginning of the level when getting terminals, and read the first part from front to back, wait for the text to change, then read the second part front to back.
lilspeedy989: Make sure you have every skull, the 9 gold skulls, and the 4 silver skulls.
Check this by pressing X on the campaign lobby and checking that no skull spot is blank.
d-ice: The meta-game is playing the campaign for points. Do this by pressing X on the campaign lobby and switching scoring to team or free-for-all. The meta-game achievements are “Guerilla”, “Demon”, “Cavalier”, “Askar”, “Exterminator”, “Ranger”, “Vanguard”, “Orpheus”, and “Reclaimer”. To get them, get at least 15,000 points on free-for-all on every mission except the sixth and seventh missions. On those you need at least 50,000 points. An easy way to get points is to turn on skulls as multipliers, and/or finish the level fast for a time bonus.
btw, Halo 3 Master, if you don’t have xbox live, then why did you say you needed the terminals to get the sword and security helmet? You need live for some achievements.

do you have to start on the first skull and go up or can you do anny skull you want without having to get the ones befor it.
Hayabusa Ows: You cannot destroy the blue wraith, but you can destroy the anti-air wraith before you get the skull. Also make sure you start at the beginning of the level at normal to legendary difficulty.

Hey I have a question how do you play halo 3 beta build and I just need 2 more termials
You guys I have a tip 4 an infinate Spartan laser go on the level halo then go up the tower ounce you’re there you need to go where Johnson is(jump on the door ledge) then shoot him with the roket launcher take his gun(warning do not give him your launcher) then his Spartan laser will have have 4 or 3 ammo then he will Get your gun do the same thing until you get his gun then it will have 72 or 86 and test it it will have infinate ammo
i finally got the security helm and the katana (aka all the achievements stuff)

when getting the iwhbyd skull there is a shorter sequence to jumping threw the rings unfortunetly i don’t have them on me but it makes it easier cuz u have to jump threw the rings only 6-9 different times.

no to put on amour u just press the start button on ur control at any menu and press right on the d-pad then go down 1 to the appearance option then press the a button. after that there is a few options, to change ur amour go down to amour then press a then choose an amour section eg head or body. press a on it and scroll thro the amour pieces u have. then press a and any piece that isnt locked.
to put on skulls go to the campain lobby and press the x button. then go thro and press a on the 1s u want to put on.
