The Halloween Spirit

Its that time of the year, when kids gorge themselves in candy and cos-play fanatics look like every other normal person in the world. Today though, is my birthday and when tomorrow morning comes, i probably will wake up dazed and confused. It’s the weekend before Halloween and about the time to get in that Halloween spirit. Over at CultofRapture they show off some uhh… realistic costumes. So realistic, it even comes with a snaggletooth-toe.

Halo 3 LAN party

We threw a Halo 3 LAN party last night and it was a blast. At some points i felt my voice was gonna go, but luckily it didn’t. I was able to test out a bunch of my Custom games and of course YoMama’sAWarthog tops the list. Its always a favorite. I’m just gonna post some screens i took. I will later link up all my games so that everyone can download them, but not until i tweak them a bit.

In this clip from the Totally Rad Show, they talk about the effects of MMO games (massive multiplayer Online) if they were to apply to real life. Seems like your average nerdy conversation about how they wish games were real, but around 35 seconds in, one of the guys uses the wrong choice of words.

Video Game Deaths and Game Overs

This video compilation of classic video game deaths will bring back some memories, but probably all bad ones. If you’re like me and have actually had the chance to play most of, if not all these games, you probably share the pain and anger from hearing that Game Over music the classic games bring. It always feels like the game is laughing at you, which in turn causes you to either keep playing till you beat the stage or until you just throw the controller.

I’d say the game i hated dying in the most would be Battletoads. Which game did you hate dying in?

The360loop 1.0

Well im finished. Like i said, it wasn’t going to be much of a change. All cosmetic work. Took me a while because I’m so limited with options. Hosting through wordpress only allows me to change CSS. Not only that, i cant use java script or edit the HTML theme. After trial and error, i finally got it working correctly on IE and Firefox. I hope you guys/girls like the new look and the color scheme. Tell me what you think. There may be some small tweaks in the next few days.

The news will be up and running regularly on June7 – 12am PST. Enjoy!
