Halo 3 Co-op Campaign found?

A post at flamesoffeenix says that they have been looking through the code and have found something very interesting.

They mention finding that Co-op campaign can be played by two players on one console or 4 players over xbox live/system link!

This is great news if it is all true. We, the fans, have been asking for online co-op and i think we will be getting more than we originally asked for.

4 players?! I would be incredibly happy with 2. It will be interesting to see how that pans out. I guess we’ll find out in September!

4 players is going to be great! imagine playings with 3 close friends on legendary difficulty!
