Screenshots of new Halo 2 maps

New screenshots have been released and they look great! These screens are of the two new maps created for Halo 2; Desolation and Tombstone.

The two maps, Desolation and Tombstone, are announced to release on April 17 for 4$.(no word on a microsoft points option) The two maps are better known as, Hang ‘em high and Derelict, will be available to both Xbox and Xbox 360. Mentioned to come with “new graphics, new features and new surprises”, but i didn’t think they would look this great! Gives me more reason to buy the maps. Who’s able to put next-gen graphics out of their minds and will play Halo2 again?

Iron Man (the movie)

Hey guys and girls, this news may not be directly about a video game, but I’m pretty sure it will be. I’m not a movie buff or a hardcore comic collector, but i have some interest in both. The image you see is the first look at the Iron Man in the coming Iron Man movie. Although it’s not about games. Most, if not all, comics that are recreated and turned into a movie usually leads to a movie-based video game.(example: TMNT, 300, Spiderman, Superman Returns, etc) But most haven’t had great gameplay to match legendary stories.

 

The picture looks great and i love the fact that the suit looks “in pieces” as Ain’t It Cool mentions. Lets hope for a great game to follow what looks like a good movie. I can’t wait for more pictures because honestly Iron Man is a more interesting comic book character than Hulk or Hellboy. Please don’t hate me for my opinion.

Problems with Gears of War update

The Gears of War update came on Monday, in hopes to rid of glitching and roadie run problem. Most people, if not everyone, have already noticed something wrong in this update. Apparently not too long after the update came to stop sliders in their tracks, they found a new way of doing it. That’s not the only glitch that has survived the patch, word says they are still able to do other glitches.

The only thing the update stopped, would be you. Before, getting from point A to point B without clinging to a wall would be like drifting a car in sand and not hitting the barrier wall. Now, whenever you try to get anywhere, you’ll be lucky if you didn’t stick to every wall in the map. I may be exaggerating, but it can be ridiculous at times. I found myself sticking to corners a lot easier, but i had a few occurrences where i was running side by side to a wall and randomly backed into it. So for those of you who race the Longshot, good luck. Someone just my trot right pass you.

The guys at Xbox360Fanboy have attempted to contact Epic, to find out what is going to be done, but haven’t gotten through. Lets all just cross our fingers for a quick fix.

Dead Rising 2 in the works

Japanese magazine, Famitsu, has announced that Capcom’s very popular zombie game Dead Rising is going to have a sequel. Mentioning that Dead Rising 2 is under development. No other information was given, but i guess its good to know.
